This online resource directory is part of UF/IFAS Extension Water Conservation Program, one of many other state major programs. This program promotes water conservation through increasing efficiency, reducing consumption, and maintaining adequate and sustainable supplies.

We classify water use by sector. Home lawn irrigation and commercial landscape irrigation (golf courses, for example) fall under the urban category. The agricultural sector includes crop, orchard, grove, and nursery irrigation. Efficient water use in one sector may increase water availability for other sectors without increasing the total amounts presently used.
